This Privacy Policy describes how TextPros ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the TextPros platform ("Service") at textpros.io. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business information (such as company name and address) provided during registration and 10DLC brand verification.
1.2 Contact and Recipient Data
When you upload contacts or create messaging campaigns, we store the recipient phone numbers, names, and any custom fields you associate with those contacts. This data is stored solely to enable your use of the Service.
1.3 Message Logs
We retain records of messages sent through the Service, including the sender number, recipient number, message content, timestamps, and delivery status. Message logs are used for delivery tracking, troubleshooting, billing, and compliance purposes.
1.4 Billing Information
Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. We retain transaction records including amounts, dates, and billing identifiers.
1.5 Usage and Analytics Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, session duration, browser type, operating system, IP address, and referring URLs. This data helps us improve the Service and diagnose technical issues.
1.6 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and local storage to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and collect analytics data. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings, but this may affect certain features.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process transactions and send billing-related communications
- Deliver your SMS and MMS messages to the intended recipients
- Monitor for abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service

- Generate aggregate, anonymized analytics to improve the platform
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
3. Third-Party Services
We share information with third parties only as necessary to operate the Service:
- Stripe — Processes payments on our behalf. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
- SMS Carriers and Aggregators — Message content and recipient phone numbers are transmitted to telecommunications carriers to deliver your messages. Carriers may retain delivery data in accordance with their own policies and regulatory obligations.
- 10DLC Registration Providers — Your business information is submitted to The Campaign Registry (TCR) and participating carriers as part of the 10DLC brand and campaign registration process.
- Analytics Providers — We may use third-party analytics tools to understand Service usage patterns. These tools collect anonymized or pseudonymized data.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your contact lists or message content with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for 90 days after account closure.
- Message logs are retained for up to 12 months to support delivery tracking, billing disputes, and compliance investigations.
- Contact data is retained for the duration of your account. You may delete individual contacts or entire lists at any time through the Service.
- Billing records are retained for 7 years to comply with tax and financial reporting requirements.
- Usage analytics are retained in aggregate form indefinitely; individual session data is retained for up to 24 months.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest
- Access controls limiting employee access to user data on a need-to-know basis
- Regular security reviews and monitoring for unauthorized access
- Secure password hashing (we never store plaintext passwords)
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice within the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised.
